Dr. Gregory Jones, Belmont University's current President, began his role serving the Belmont community by communicating with campus and the broader community his vision for Belmont to "Let Hope Abound." This includes a commitment to five ways of being: Hope Inspiring, Character Forming, Future Shaping, Community Engaging and Bridge Building. This video serves as an introduction to those five themes.
Ideation
After defining the five ways of being from a student's perspective, it was condensed to a shorter, more straightforward copy.
Drawing inspiration from Belmont's "Agents of Hope" mural, the repetitious, geometric pattern is visible in the initial sketches and carried through to the final design.
Featuring B-roll provided by Belmont University, the sketches were created with the available footage in mind.
